Let us take care of everything during your home renovation

Or clients wanted their older, Tuxedo area, home’s basement transformed into a comfortable place to enjoy their hobbies (billiards, music, and, movies), and provide a place for their grandchildren to play. They also wanted to have the renovations take place start to finish while they were getting away from the cold Winnipeg winter on their holiday down south. We were happy to make this happen, and our experience in planning renovation projects made this a breeze. We had everything designed, picked, and chosen before they left on their vacation, and when they returned they had a completed project, exactly how they wanted it. The fact that our clients trust us to take care of their home and their renovation, start to finish, for several weeks while they are not even in the country is a testament to the trust and reputation that we have earned with our clients.

As is typical with homes of this area, headroom was low, and the footprint of the basement is on the smaller size. We were still able to achieve an open and inviting space for the family to gather. The entire basement was insulated with spray foam, and windows were replaced to ensure a cozy feeling all year long. To accomodate our client’s passion for audio, experts were called in to integrate all of his audiophile equipment directly into the build, hiding the massive network of wires needed to run his system. His audio rig was built into the custom dry bar that also featured a fridge for keeping those beers cold while listening to treasured vinyl. Custom bannister, stair wall cap, and floating shelving were made to match the cabinetry of the bar. The whole space is lit with natural light emitting LEDs to ensure this space never feels like a basement.

Maybe now our clients won’t feel the need to escape down south over the winter with this new cozy living space.
