Laurel Bay Kitchen Remodel
This client LOVED cooking and entertaining guests in the kitchen, so he needed a kitchen where his passion could flourish. When redesigning his kitchen, we choose to knock out a partition wall that was separating the original small kitchen and dining room and creating one large open kitchen space. The dining room was moved into the adjoining “formal” living room that really wasn’t being used by the family anyway as they would typically use the adjacent den to watch TV and relax.
When renovating your dream kitchen you can achieve all sorts of great features like we did here. A side by side commercial sized fridge and freezer provides food storage on par with most small restaurant kitchens. Changing the electric stove to a gas cooktop, and the not one, but two islands for prep work make this a chef’s dream come true.
This kitchen won the 2015 Manitoba Home Builder’s Association Consumer’s Choice Award in the Kitchen Category.
