With our kitchen renovation services, we transformed this dated and boxed-in kitchen with a bold and striking design.

We expanded the dining room entrance and removed the railing separating the family room. These design choices create a seamless flow across the main floor.

A kitchen island as the centrepiece to the design

The kitchen renovation features long linear lines that bring built-in elegance to the space. The homeowners’ sight lines from end to end allow the family to connect, no matter where they are in the space.

The kitchen design centers around an expansive island boasting 13’ of storage and 16’ of countertop space. The island is a work of art with a beautiful, lightly-veined Omnia quartz countertop that continues to the floor with matching waterfall edges. Three matte black pendant lights hang above, cascading light into the space – and helping the island shine.

The island’s beauty is not outshone by its practicality, as it is perfect for organizing kitchen wares and feeding a busy family.

Classic design appeal that’s refreshingly bold

The rest of the kitchen renovation is equally stunning. The design tiptoes into classic features while balancing striking and bold finishes that help make the space feel refreshing.

The dark-stained lower cabinets ground the space, while bright whites are used in the upper cabinets. A combination of open shelves, detailed millwork, and rose gold hardware adds classic touches full of style and keeps the eye entertained as you scan the space.

The kitchen space uses stark contrast as part of the design theme throughout, whether it’s the contrast between the dark-stained island panelling and the light-coloured, natural wood grain flooring, the matte black faucets and large-slab, bright backsplash tile, or the metallic finishes of the stainless steel appliances and hardware as they sit on the dark cabinet fronts.
