This small kitchen renovation helped our customer’s kitchen receive a serious upgrade to its style, storage, and counter space. When we first started planning the kitchen design, we loved how bright this room was, so we did the most we could to keep it feeling light and airy.
Our kitchen design is fit for this small kitchen space
To achieve our kitchen renovation goal of keeping the space light and airy, we added a subtle blue tint to the cabinets. It’s an unexpected tone that pairs perfectly with the glimmering glass herringbone backsplash that we custom tiled delivering the perfect dramatic focal point.
A light quartz countertop is a timeless addition, and the stained oak base cabinets ground the space. We paid extra attention to functionality by extending the countertop into a peninsula that provides ample storage space. The kitchen’s previous layout had an awkward niche that we transformed with a built-in storage cabinet that rests on the countertop.
Then, we continued to increase the storage volume of this small kitchen renovation with a new pantry cabinetry that also houses the microwave.
When the homeowners came to Hammerdown, they were looking for a kitchen that felt unique and lent a glamorous feel to their home – we think we succeeded!
