We love the opportunity to continue to update our clients’ home – with a pair of bathroom renovations for returning customers. The goals for the project were to incorporate a cohesive style into the spaces and to add a touch of lux with an ensuite renovation.

“Builder grade” bathroom gets a massive update with new ensuite design and renovation

In the before photos, you’ll see what we refer to as “older builder grade” home design with the vanity, bulky platform bathtub and shower area. With those items removed, we were able to map out a fully custom-tiled shower contained within a sparkling glass enclosure.The tiles used in the shower are large format pale grey honed tile from Ames. The shower space also features seamless zero threshold entry, which will allow our clients to continue to enjoy it into their golden years.

Add a splash of glam, a hint of relaxation to create the perfect space to unwind

The space also received a splash of glamour with statement crystal light fixtures with matching sconces and a decorative mirror. The new free-standing bathtub will give the opportunity to relax and unwind with a little bit of self-care. And the floating vanity lends to the new airy and serene feel of this room.

Rounding out the details in the new ensuite renovation are:

• Dark taupe stained maple vanity
• Omnia: Statuario Elegante quartz countertops
• Delta Saylor faucets in polished chrome fixtures
• Neptune Paris tub

The second act – the home’s main bathroom renovation

In the main bathroom we increased the drama with a bold wall colour, new vanity, mirror and wall sconces.

• Similar to the ensuite renovation, the main bathroom refresh features a dark taupe stained maple vanity, Omnia: Statuario Elegante quartz countertops, Baril faucet in brushed nickel and the wall sconces in textured glass and brushed nickel.
• Ensuite bathroom wall colours: Collingwood by Benjamin Moore with Metropolis by Benjamin Moore for the ceiling.
• Main bathroom wall colours: Revere Pewter by Benjamin Moore and Normandy by Benjamin Moore for the accent wall.

Our clients will be happily enjoying their new bathrooms, along with their other home renovations by Hammerdown, for years to come.
